Bengaluru techie dead after car enters flooded K R Circle underpass


 Bhanurekha was rushed to the  near St Martha's Hospital, but was declared dead by croakers

 Chief Minister Siddaramaiah visited the sanitarium and declared an ex-gratia of Rs five lakh to the kin of the victim. A cracker  failed after the auto she was travelling in entered a  swamped rotary at K R Circle in the heart of Bengaluru Sunday.  

 The  departed has been  linked as Bhanurekha, 22, who was employed at Infosys. The accident  passed after heavy rain pounded the  megacity Sunday  autumn. Seven people were in the vehicle, and six were  saved by locals .Bhanurekha was rushed to the  near St Martha’s Sanitarium, but was declared dead by croakers

 Chief Minister Siddaramaiah visited the sanitarium and declared ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakh to the kin of the victim .Speaking to  journalists, Siddaramaiah said that the family hailed from Vijayawada. “ They had rented a auto and were  traveling  the  megacity. Including the  motorist, there were seven people. There was a  hedge to  help people from entering the rotary.

But the  hedge had fallen over due to rain. The  motorist could have avoided the rotary. Yet, he entered it, ” he said .Once the vehicle travelled further into the rotary, water  situations rose to the glass  position of the SUV, owing to which they were  unfit to open the doors. Bhanurekha  failed after drowning in the  submersed rotary.   “

 When they brought her to the sanitarium, they performed an ECG. She was declared dead at the sanitarium, ” Siddaramaiahsaid .Rainfall coupled with hail and heavy wind lashed the  megacity since  autumn,  extracting several trees and  submersing a many  points.

 Water entered houses in some low- lying areas of Mahalakshmi Layout and there were also cases where tree branches fell on vehicles due to heavy wind.
